City Vision / Mayer
serving Twin Cities churches more than 20 years
Church Scouts gets its statistical data from City Vision (www.cityvisiontc.org), a church research organization founded and headed by Rev. Dr. John Mayer, which has been gathering and analyzing data on Twin Cities churches for more than 20 year.
In church research circles around the world, the Twin Cities metro, because of City Vision, is recognized as having more information about local churches than any other metro area in the world!
Church Scouts is pleased to partner with City Vision and build upon it's resources and depth of understanding.
The role of City Vision and Church Scouts is to track the WHOLE church of the Twin Cities ... to see how each church fits into the WHOLE ... and to help us work together and learn from each other.
City Vision is widely known for its 185-page book filled with hundreds of tables, charts and graphs on every aspect of religion in the Twin Cities.
A copy of the book, in either print or digital format, is available from City Vision at its online store.
City Vision, Church Scouts and many volunteers are doing the best we can to keep data current, but our reporting is not completely error-free because everything is constantly changing.
As much as possible we try to triangulate data from different sources. We ask for your help if you spot some number that doesn't seem right. Just trigger an anonymous alert at errors.sf.org and we will do more research. In this sense, YOU can be a scout.
Please help us keep data current
